Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GasBook (the 'Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms') and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of GasBook, including LPG distributors, gas agencies, their staff members, and any other individuals who access the Platform on behalf of a business.

2. Description of Service

GasBook is a cloud-based CRM platform designed for LPG distributors and gas agencies. The Platform provides tools for managing customer bookings, delivery scheduling, cylinder stock tracking, invoicing, payment recording, and WhatsApp-based customer communication.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

3. Account Registration

To use GasBook you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete business information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at info@gasbook.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. GasBook will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account credentials.

Each subscription is for a single LPG distributor or gas agency. You may create sub-accounts for your staff but you may not share your subscription with unrelated businesses.

4. Subscription and Payment

GasBook is offered on a subscription basis. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and plan details are described on our pricing page or agreed upon in your order form. All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan. Payment is due on the billing date. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GasBook only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Platform to store or transmit unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or offensive content.

You must not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, circumvent security measures, reverse-engineer the Platform, or interfere with other users' access.

You must not use the WhatsApp integration to send spam, unsolicited messages, or content that violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all customer data, booking records, and business data you enter into GasBook ('Your Data'). We act as a data processor on your behalf and process Your Data only as directed by you or as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use any data you input into the Platform, including obtaining appropriate consent from your customers for WhatsApp notifications.

You can export Your Data at any time through the Platform's export tools. Upon account termination, we will retain Your Data for 90 days during which you may request an export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

7. Intellectual Property

GasBook and all related software, designs, trademarks, and content are the exclusive property of GasBook and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights to the Platform.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use GasBook solely for your internal business operations during your active subscription period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GasBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GasBook and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. You may cancel your subscription from your account settings or by contacting us at info@gasbook.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay outstanding fees. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
